As soon as Vietnam moved to lift the quarantine order due to the Covid-19 epidemic, two golf courses, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip and Laguna Lang Co, reopened and are gradually bringing Vietnam to the top of the list of top golf destinations in the world.
In the first four months of the year, the Southeast Asian golf industry has continuously fallen into a state of “hibernation”. Severely affected by the social distancing order, golf courses in Vietnam were forced to stop operating to limit the spread of the virus in the community.
But now, when Vietnam has just returned to its previous pace of life to restore the economy, some golf courses such as The Bluffs and Laguna Lang Co are ready to welcome golfers back to the course. Accordingly, enhancing hygiene and safety remains a top priority throughout when the golf course returns to operation.
In the context of many changes in the world tourism industry, golf courses in Vietnam will focus their efforts on serving the domestic market. Even members of the golf community in Vietnam believe that Vietnam’s excellent efforts to control the epidemic will become a significant advantage for the domestic market once foreign tourists are allowed to enter Vietnam in the future.
The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course

Vietnam has gained an initial advantage over other countries in the fight against the epidemic. Prevention measures such as temporarily suspending international entry, requiring 14-day mandatory quarantine for people returning from abroad and establishing blockades when necessary. All have been effective. As of May 14, the whole country had less than 300 cases of infection and no deaths.
However, people should not be subjective about the potential risk from the Covid-19 epidemic. To proactively prevent epidemics, strict health standards are applied at both The Bluffs and Laguna Lang Co golf courses.
Preventive measures include body temperature checks before entering the field, hand sanitizer and mandatory mask wearing. In addition, visitors will be required to fill out a health declaration form before entering the golf course to prove they are not at risk of contracting Covid-19.
Laguna Lang Co Golf Course – Hue

With two golf courses now allowed to reopen, golfers can now return to the course with their usual golf equipment.
