To pay tribute to the great historical milestone of high-end watchmaking, Breguet has just launched a quartet of tourbillon masterpieces, including a design with a completely new movement.
Exactly 225 years ago, on the 7th day of Messidor year 9 according to the French revolutionary calendar at that time), master Abraham-Louis Breguet was officially granted a patent for the tourbillon mechanism. This is a great invention that changed the course of watch history forever. With a brand that cherishes heritage values like Breguet, big milestones have never been overlooked. Previously, the fashion house launched a series of masterpieces to honor its 250th anniversary – one of which was the Expérimentale 1 đã vinh dự nhận giải thưởng "Đồng hồ xuất sắc nhất năm" tại lễ trao giải Best of the Best 2026. Now, the brand continues to delight enthusiasts when it announces a quartet of classy tourbillons to honor this historic patenting event.
Classique Tourbillon 7357: The appearance of the Cal movement. 187B

First are two new versions of a watch line that is already familiar to collectors. The Classique Tourbillon 7357 model was developed directly based on the Ref. 3350 – the first modern tourbillon wristwatch made by Breguet. This classic design that is powered by the Caliber 558 movement has always been the desire of collectors. However, for the newly launched pair, Breguet has developed a completely new movement codenamed Cal. 187B.
Other notable details on this hand-wound Classique Tourbillon 7357 include the Arabic numeral system on the 18-karat gold dial, featuring a Clous de Paris guilloché motif in the center and a barleycorn motif running around the rim. The 35 mm watch is available in two material options: platinum (priced at $203,300) or silver-plated 18-karat Breguet gold (priced at $184,800), and will be part of the company’s permanent collection.
Classique Tourbillon Sidéral 7255: The art of hiding

Next up is the Classique Tourbillon Sidéral 7255, an updated version of Breguet’s first wristwatch with a flying tourbillon mechanism. Limited to just 50 pieces, the watch features a completely new color palette with a 38mm platinum case and an eye-catching black aventurine enamel dial that can turn deep green at certain angles.
Marine Tourbillon Équation Marchante: The epic of the sea

Next is the Marine Tourbillon Équation Marchante model. With a size of 43.9 mm, this is the largest watch in the quartet and is a tribute to the historical relationship between Breguet and the French Royal Navy. This limited edition platinum masterpiece features a night sky sapphire crystal dial hand-finished using Grand Feu enamel, which features a see-through underside. The owner of the watch can customize this star map according to the geographical coordinates, date and time he desires.
Turn over to the back, the watch back cover is hand-engraved with the image of a battleship Royal Louis Famous since the 18th century. The ship’s movement has an oscillation frequency of 4 Hz, a power reserve of 80 hours, and also integrates a perpetual calendar function and an equation of time display mechanism that helps indicate the difference between mean solar time (displayed on the main dial) and actual solar time, which always fluctuates due to the Earth’s elliptical orbit. This powerful mechanical masterpiece sold for $385,900.
Tradition Tourbillon: The pinnacle of mechanical engineering
Finally, the technical version of the Tradition Tourbillon has just been given a new look by Breguet with the main color blue. The highlight of the watch lies in the glacier-blue color on the sandblasted main processing plate, the French blue color (bleu de France) on the bridge and chain system, combined with the Grand Feu Bleu de France enamel dial to create an artistic contrast. Meanwhile, the back cover shows off sharp geometric lines.
The heart of this design is the Caliber 569 movement, which combines the tourbillon mechanism with another legendary invention of Leonardo da Vinci’s genius: the fusee-and-chain drive mechanism. Limited to just 25 pieces globally, this 41 mm watch has a power reserve of 55 hours and a selling price of 325,200 USD.
