Từ ngày 01 tháng 04 năm 2024, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers chính thức đổi tên thành Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, mở ra kỷ nguyên mới cho một trong những khách sạn năm sao bậc nhất Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. The new name is inspired by the combination of the City Theater and the Grand Tower scheduled to be upgraded in 2024.

Bằng việc chuyển đổi sang tên gọi mới, Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel đánh dấu bước ngoặt nâng cấp cho tòa nhà Grand Tower 26 tầng.

Quyết định chuyển đổi tên gọi từ "Hotel & Towers" thành "Grand Opera Hotel" thể hiện sự tôn vinh dành cho tòa nhà biểu tượng lịch sử của Sài Gòn, Nhà hát thành phố, nơi chỉ cách khách sạn vài bước chân. Tên gọi cũ Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers được đặt dựa trên hình ảnh hai tòa nhà khách sạn, bao gồm tòa Main Tower với hệ thống 379 phòng mới nâng cấp vào năm 2020, thiết kế lấy cảm hứng từ hoa sen, quốc hoa của Việt Nam và tòa Grand Tower với 106 phòng studio và suite mang đến tiêu chuẩn quốc tế với không gian rộng rãi khi được chuyển đổi vào năm 2008. Tên gọi mới là sự kết hợp giữa “Opera” and “Grand” represents the new positioning for the hotel, when the upgraded Grand Tower building will have a luxurious design inspired by the City Theater.
