2026 marks the third time the Italian fashion house has presented its Haute Couture collection right in the capital Rome.
Takes place at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea) in Rome, the collection focuses on expensive details that bring multi-layered clothing. From the value of vibrant materials to the complex dialogue between charisma and emotion, desire is the highlight of the entire show.

However, this is also a tribute to Chiuri’s initial inspirations – the Fendi sisters and the late designer Karl Lagerfeld. Relaxed shapes accentuate the body’s contours, exquisitely tailored velvet coats and a mix of black and white colors bring a sense of freedom, while also recalling the looks that have shaped Fendi’s identity over the decades.
At this special event, guests were given a preview of the upcoming exhibition titled "After un Percorso di Lavoro. Fendi/Karl Lagerfeld 1985. After Steps Through Work" – a big inspiration for this collection. The intersection of fashion and art exhibition will officially open to the public from Friday, July 10 and last until October 25.

Short film Love Monster directed by Valeria Golino, with the participation of Leila George and Pietro Castellitto, was officially launched and opened the show. The story highlights the desire between the boundary of dreams and reality while waiting for nightfall. Filmed in the gardens of Villa Borghese and during the closing hours of the exhibition space, Love Monster serves as an artistic extension to the collection’s experiments in passion and sensuality.

After the movie ended, the opening design for the collection appeared: a lightly draped see-through caftan with black-white striped patterns and diamond squares, combined with black fur-covered pumps. Inspiration from craftsmanship Labyrinth toile
The iconic 16. created by Lagerfeld when he was still leading the brand was clearly recreated through a kimono-style jacket and black dress. Although many other collections force the body into fixed shapes, most of the designs this time move away from that way of thinking to bring a desire for freedom. From the Art Deco touches on the separate outfits to the excellent tailoring techniques on both men’s and women’s clothes, making a work of art move with the wearer instead of just standing still on the wall is what Chiuri wants to focus on this season. Model Awar Odhiang closed the minimalist but attractive collection by wearing a see-through black lace dress with white lace details seductively slit towards the body.

The front row gathered close friends of the fashion house such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Danny Ramirez, Yara Shahidi, Victoria Luengo, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Duong Yen (Tang Yan), Ko Shibasaki, Valeria Abou Chacra, Valeria Golino, Luca Marinelli, Monica Bellucci, Pietro Castellitto, Bebe Vio, Anna Ferzetti, Giorgio Quarzo Guarascio, Valentina Bellé and Eleonora Abbagnato, among many other stars.

In the world of fashion, we can choose to celebrate our curves or relax completely. Whether you choose to wear black and white tulle or a double-faced cashmere coat with leather details, Chiuri clearly understands the power of playing with tailoring elements – designs that not only listen to the body but also the mind of those wearing Haute Couture.
