Semeli Coast Mykonos – Peaceful note in the middle of the Greek “paradise island”.

Located on a hidden bay in Merchia Bay, the new hotel under the Curio Collection brand portrays a Mykonos with a different slow pace of life and wildness.

Mykonos is bustling with beach clubs lining the shore, wild DJ performances lasting from midday until dawn, and a vibrant party scene stretching across the island’s southwest corner.

However, just half an hour’s drive east from the airport, a completely different Mykonos will appear. Perched on a towering cliff overlooking Merchia Bay on the island’s more peaceful east coast, Semeli Coast Mykonos celebrates a completely new style of resorting in Mykonos – where the blowing wind and crashing waves are the only sounds, giving guests complete control over when to immerse themselves in the bustling party atmosphere.

45 suites and villas line the hillside in pristine white-painted low-rise Cycladic architectural blocks, with many featuring private plunge pools carved directly into the stone terraces. The resort’s design focuses on privacy and seclusion, ideal for both romantic vacations and multi-generational families looking to relax together.

With a Cycladic minimalist style that celebrates natural materials, the resort offers unobtrusive luxury and warm, attentive service. The panoramic view of the immense Aegean Sea is a valuable plus.

The best moments are often the simplest things. The pool spans two levels above the bay: an infinity pool on the upper level, and just below, a second pool attached to Icáre – the hotel’s most luxurious restaurant. Here, Michelin-starred chef Ioannis Parikos always keeps the menu bold with seasonality and sophistication, without being fussy.

After a relaxing morning by the pool, a short stroll downhill brings you to the hotel’s private cove and beach, where the water becomes calm and shallow just off shore. A nice little beach bar ready to serve Greek beer and wine.

Late afternoon, walk up a few short stairs and you’ll arrive at Almira Taverna for lunch. This traditional restaurant serves grilled fish, fresh salads and typical Cycladic dishes. In addition, a modern gym and high-end spa will also help tourists who love health care to be both busy and relaxed during their vacation.
